Event Details

As European Association of Development Agencies, EURADA’s mission is to foster economic development across Europe. To this end, EURADA also capitalises on best-practices successfully employed in European regions as peer-learning is key to social and economic growth.

EURADA analysed over 60 best-practices in the frame of the Interreg Europe’s Projects Social Seeds, ESSPO and Beyond EDP, and selected two of those as highly innovative and impactful – one being the Regional Cooperative Westerkwartier, lead partner is the Hanze UAS. Building on its wider network of regional and local authorities and economic organisations and its European reach out, EURADA recently started the dissemination of the two selected best-practices and serves as liaison agency between their owners and interested entities in the EU and well-beyond.

Hanze University of Applied Sciences is shaping the future of the triple helix. A new regional approach to tackle the threats of demographic change, innovation gaps and youth unemployment. `in a cooperative effort, Hanze UAS as well as Terra VET, public      bodies and regional entrepreneurs are partners within the so-called Entrepreneurs’ Innovation lab. Intended to reinforce SME’s resilience, it is an eco-system for start up’s, cooperation and co-learning , either to establish new businesses collectively or to join existing SME’s in the region.

Marian van Os Centre for Entrepreneurship is lead partner of the Northern Netherlands Consortium of the Enterprise Europe Network. EEN North is helping SME’s innovate and grow internationally: – support in finding potential business partners abroad, – B2B matchmaking, trade missions, IP information, information on EU law and regulation, market intelligence.
